The cat you see in the picture below was mauled to death by two improperly socialized and unrestrained hybrid wolf dogs. The cats owner came home to find their restraining gate wide open, her belongings destroyed, and her cat dead. The owner of the dogs, with whom she was rooming at the time, collected his dogs, removed them from the premises, and told her to be out by morning (essentially, he illegally evicted her without notice). He acknowledged that the dogs had killed her cat, but refused to acknowledge any responsibility in the matter. Please sign and share the petition, telling the local sheriff that you would like for him to investigate this horrible situation. The owner of the cat is beside herself with grief, and is staying with a friend as she now has no home in addition to the loss of her cat and belongings. Imagine how you would feel if this happened to you, and the person responsible refused to even apologize, let alone help you replace some of your things as you grieved for your beloved companion.
