The central theme this weekend from my usual atheist crowd centers around the pagan ritual of Eoster and mock Christians as fools for incorporating it into their tradition. Well let me tell you what I saw today from the rich white Christian community that has been so bombarded with negativity from those who claim superior tolerance. I saw families reunited after long absences. I saw children squeal with delight at the colorful and creative display of Easter decor. I saw fellowship and goodwill towards all. Even the lowest of the staff had smiles for everyone. I saw charities become beneficiaries. I saw love and well wishes in our Lords name to everyone. But what I DIDNT see was negative and hopelessness wrapped in avarice and low self esteem. Sometimes I wonder if things have flipped to this extreme for some people and I feel utter sorrow for those folks and pray that they receive massive amounts of love in their lives to compensate for their grief. God is great. He is risen!
