The choice that has been offered is ACA or the status quo. ACA is not the system I had hoped for. I would prefer the single payer system Germany has or the multiple payer (but universal coverage) system France has. England has a single payer with supplementary coverage available to those willing to pay for it. But as long as Big Pharma, the health insurance lobby, and I regret to say, the medical establishment, have the stranglehold over our political system, the only hope we have for change is incremental. Im sad to see that two of the friends I have liked the most, are in favor of change when it benefits themselves (gay marriage) but not when it doesnt benefit them but does others. I am disappointed. Ive been regarded as a traitor when I hold political views against my own interest, but in favor of the greater good. You, Brandon and Robert, seem to be in no danger of suffering that dissonance.
