The church of Jesus Christ is built upon the foundational work of Jesus Christ. He is the head of the church. The reason we exist as a church is for Jesus Christ. The essence of spiritual life that fills the church is the Spirit of God who also is known as the Spirit of Christ. The Bible says that we are all stones being built into this great ongoing temple in which the Spirit of God dwells. As such, the framework of the church is composed of “little people” like you and like me. The beauty of the relationship we have with Christ is that in his eyes, there are no “Little people.” Every one of you has an important place to fill in the body of Christ.
