The clock looks much better than then what you see here. It is what we call a piano finish and it is Mauthe from the late thirties or early forties. The Company Mauthe closed down in 1976, 100 years since it began making clocks, prior to that it only made clock parts. This clock was purchased from Austria. Hear the chimes this is rally very melodious, just hoping the other two clocks in transit sound as good or better.
