The cloudy, damp conditions that have persisted across the WBTV - TopicsExpress

The cloudy, damp conditions that have persisted across the WBTV viewing area over the past several days greet us again this morning, but at least we dont have to deal with the rain and drizzle from yesterday. Those clouds are expected to break for some sunshine later today, and with that, warmer afternoon readings in the mid 70s are in the forecast. The late week forecast hinges on a cool front crossing the Midwest today. Its expected to arrive here Thursday, so well stay on the warm side of normal in advance to its arrival. Rain chances will bounce up a bit Wednesday night and Thursday, but widespread heavy rain seems unlikely. The front may hang up to our east on Friday, and several models are now suggesting that a weak wave or two of low pressure may ride up along the stalled front over the weekend. With that in mind, Ive increased the cloud cover portion of the weekend forecast and introduced the idea of a shower risk both Saturday and Sunday. Time will tell if those trends hold up, stay tuned! Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
