The coalition is not interested in lower income or poor students. Pyne said in parliament yesterday Lower SES (socio economic status ie. poor) students will still be able to afford diplomas and higher certificates. Yes, you heard right, Pyne is saying that poor people will still be able to get lesser qualifications, the implication being that if you are born poor then (just like pre industrial society) you should be content to have lesser qualifications (and take orders from) those born rich. Pyne is from one of the wealthiest, well established families in Adelaide. He truly was brought up born to rule and he wants to make sure his descendents are also.
