The coffee morning held at the Methodist Hall, New Road, Brighstone was buzzing with activity as more and more people arrived to join us for coffee and cake. Volunteers were on hand to welcome everyone and show them what was on offer to try. Hand massages were very popular with men and women alike and many of the ladies then had their nails painted before returning to their seats for a second cuppa! I don’t know who won the Scrabble games but I think it was a very close score and there were quizzes scattered around the room for people to try if they felt like having a go. Why not join us next Tuesday 19th August when we will be joined by PCSO Cat Quinn and Sue Hughes from Trading Standards who will be there to chat about safety in the village and avoiding scams. Don’t worry, they won’t be giving a talk, but they might be joining the queue for a hand massage!
