The cold has reached the keep you awake all night coughing stage, having sunk from my sinuses onto my chest. Gee I just love this part of a cold, the stabbie pains in the chest, the iron bands for stomach muscles, the cheese gartered throat, the inability to breathe without coughing and the total exhaustion from the lack of undisturbed sleep. There are however some small blessings. Since the cold has come out of my sinuses and settled on my chest I dont feel like my brain is made of porridge quite so much anymore and my trigeminal neuralgia isnt kicking off any more. Also my taste buds have started working again and I can smell the fabulous dinner my wonderful blokey is preparing and will be able to taste the big bar of Galaxy he brought home for me and called medicine. I might be feeling like death would be a pleasant release but I am still a very lucky lady :-)
