The collection effort I organized yesterday and a comment from a donor got me thinking: with over 7500 members we could really organize and sustain a susu. I know that not nearly all 7500+ members would contribute, but I think enough could contribute to make it worth while. We could collect as little as $1/mo. if everybody contributed. And if we never do that, the least we can do is continue to collect when members are in need. Need transportation to go pick up your children or take them to the park? Need a family membership to the zoo or aquarium? Need a suit for court or a job interview? Need a lawyer? Need a birthday present? What is this group here for if not for that? What are we even living for if not to help others?
