The color of your skin plays a big part in how our police react and respond to situations. As I read up on the latest incident at the White House/U.S Capitol I thought back to numerous incidents in the past where non-black males were armed to teeth and actually opened fire at the White House/U.S Capitol but were handled with great care by the police and not murdered in the aftermath. Some will say "well the Black woman (Miriam Carey) had a vehicle which made here more dangerous so they had to shoot and kill her". If you read below you will see their were several cases where non-black individuals (mostly men who were armed) successfully or unsuccessfully rammed the White House/US Capitol barricades and even opened fire on the spot, but were subdued and not slaughtered like this unarmed woman who seemed more scared than actually trying to assassinate anyone. I am not saying she was in the right for trying to flee police, but look how the non-black persons below were treated when they actually attempted to assassinate the President at the White House or important persons at the U.S Capitol. 1) Russel Eugene Weston Jr. - In 1998 He came inside the U.S Capitol with guns and opened fire where he murdered two U.S Capitol Police officers. Arrested but NEVER charged and of course NOT murdered by the police. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Capitol_shooting_incident_(1998) 2) Francisco Martin Duran - In 1994 he pulled out a SKS semi-automatic rife and fired 29 rounds into the White House. He was only wrestled to the ground by the police. It was all caught on tape youtube/watch?v=HJu_UswXWtw 3) Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez - In 2011 attempted a drive by shooting of the White House on Constitution Avenue pulling out a rifle and taking shots at the White House. He of course was only arrested. Not murdered by police. kboi2/news/local/White-House-Shooter-Court-Ortega-Hernandez-134249073.html 4) Christopher Wade Briggs - In 2013 earlier this year he went up the the White House and pulled out his .45 caliber. He was also found carrying two more magazines filled with 13 rounds each, plus an additional 171 rounds of .45 hollow point ammunition. When police "apprehended" him stated these words “I was only going to fire a couple of shots if no one confronted me.” Armed and dangerous but of course he was not murdered by the police. yourblackworld.net/2013/07/black-news/armed-texas-man-arrested-near-white-house-says-he-only-wanted-to-fire-a-couple-shots/ 5) There are many cases where individuals like (Steven B. Williams who attempted to battle ram his truck through white house barricades but was not shot and killed by police) and for the most part, these persons who happened to be non Black were not shot and killed. Here is good list a just a few persons who attempted to crash planes (Frank Eugene Corder 1994), drive their vehicle into or breach the security with attempted assassination attempts either at the White House or the US Capitol.
