The community is being asked to rally behind a RAAF family devastated by a road accident on November 22 at Rosedale. Guthridge Primary School in Sale is running a fundraising raffle in which all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Hutchings family. From the school: The Hutchings Family had recently returned to Sale and tragically lost family members in a horrific car accident near Rosedale on Friday, 22 November. Their children attended our school twelve months ago and were very excited about starting with us again in 2014. Little seven year old Mikayla and her much loved mother, Theresa were tragically killed in the accident. Eight year old Andrew who has autism, has been left a paraplegic and will require extensive rehabilitation for many years to come. Along with these tragedies, the family also have to deal with the financial strain that is now in front of them. Guthridge Primary School is running a fundraising raffle in which all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Hutchings family to support them with the very trying times they now face. Books of tickets are available from the Office and money and tickets (sold or unsold) need to be returned by Thursday 12th December, which is when our school will be holding its end of year concert. Cash donations can also be paid into our school account electronically or by visiting a branch of NAB: Bank: MECU BSB 313140 Account No. 120525333 Account name: Guthridge Primary School Official Account Referenced: “Hutchings Family – donation” With school finishing on Friday 20 December, we have a very short time-line in which to show our support for this family. Please give generously. For any further information, please contact the Principal, Sue Burnett on 51 443633 See also: gippslandtimes.au/story/1945185/raaf-family-crash-victims-supported/?cs=12
