The concept of Free Speech is grossly misinterpreted. You are Free to say whatever youd like. You are not free from the social/legal consequences of expressing yourself Freely. I understood this in second grade. Why is it such a hard concept for people (especially Americans) to grasp? Nothing in this life is free other than your state of mind. Every action, verbal or nonverbal, has a reaction. Reporting is a cowards way of disagreeing with you. Really, it means youve won because they didnt have the cojones to tell you to your face (yes, its internet, you know what I mean) what their issue is. Silencing people on the internet is not preventing violence. In fact, Id be willing to bet the more people are silenced over stupid things like saying fgt, the sooner we will see a violent uprising of the working/middle class. All day, every day, we are expected to be politically correct and sensitive to others feelz. With no outlet, one has nothing left to do but implode or explode. My two cents.
