The concept of a person leaving behind a legacy...living on just because they were prominent in this life and remembered by a lot of people, because of some sort of worldly achievement, is a limited, civilizational concept. Having a legacy (Steven Covey style) does not even mean the person who did this, actually lived a good life. But a person leaving behind a true, divine and authentic creative gift that lives on (a gift not limited by rationality, logic, or athiestic philosophy)..that is something else and is certainly a blessing. I dont think it is necessary to realize a gift to live a good life..you just have to survive the trials of life and be a lover, and not a hater.
