The concerns of the general population extend to their family, their job and their friends. The End. Politics? Ukraine? Syria? Iraq? Gaza? Voter suppression in the U.S.? Republicans blocking efforts to overturn Citizens United? Im just not that interested in politics. Theyre all a bunch of crooks. In this day and age, apathy is inexcusable. But the Republidevils and their corporate/billionaire sponsors count on it. The less you know, the more easily they can manipulate your voting decisions with their relentless barrage of ads telling you what a tax-raising, bribe-taking, middle class-hating sleazeball the Democratic candidate is. So it is up to those of us who actually have some idea of whats going on (hey, Im not going to say Im up to snuff on every conceivable issue) to educate our friends, neighbors, and co-workers or colleagues. And if you make enough to have colleagues rather than co-workers, you should be making a financial contribution as well. The election is, what, seven weeks away? Heaven help us! (What a rotten time to be an atheist!)
