The conflict in Syria has forced millions of people to flee their homes. In this humanitarian crisis food is a top priority. WFP plans to provide food assistance to 6.5 million Syrians between now and the end of the year. It is to assist 4 million people inside Syria - on both sides - and 2.5 million refugees in neighboring countries. A standard ration consists of rice, bulgur, flour, sugar, pasta, vegetable oil and lentils. Also is distributed to families a monthly ration of 5 pounds of bread per person.
