The conservative blog Powerline announced a new award in Delauters honor, named, appropriately enough, the Kirby Delauter. The announcement also used Delauters photo without his permission, too, adding that it would name our newest award for the most clueless public official of the week. The first recipient, Powerline added, was Delauter. If you would like to use Kirby Delauters name in authorized form, requests may be made here, Popehat tweeted. The tweet included a link to Delauters official county website. For instance, you could seek permission to say Kirby Delauter is a civically illiterate blowhard, but theres no proof he molests ferrets, he added in a sarcastic follow-up. YES, YOU JUST REFER TO HIM AS THAT GUY, Popehat said in an all-caps tweet. BECAUSE THE NAME KIRBY DELAUTER IS FORBIDDEN BY THE NECRONOMICON, AND LAWYERS.
