The consumable parts removed always tell a story, often a difficult read and with extremely subtle clues but...... a story that defines how an engine is built. There is but one way to straighten main bores in a Ferrari engine in my opinion. Spinning the lapping bar through 3 different grits, washing and measuring between each. A grunty hand powered process but one that I have yet to see the results duplicated when done by machine. So much for the block being assembly cleaned...
