The contradiction is found in the fact that atheists posit that - TopicsExpress

The contradiction is found in the fact that atheists posit that there is no such thing as an objective morality… morality being the sole product of individual, subjective considerations, not a divinely pervasive standard. The problem is, if there is no objective morality, what is resultant is an ecumenical, pervasive evil (and subjective morality). Then it would follow that there is an objective evil in the absence of an objective morality, which provides a perplexing dilemma for atheists. If the default condition is evil in the absence of any type of morality, objective or subjective, then there must exist an objective evil, which still points to God as the best ontological argument. Since the idea of an objective evil as being an exclusive objective condition is self defeating in light of the fact that morality, of some sort or another, does exist, then it follows that there need be an objective morality, thus it continues that there need be a Moral Law Giver.
