And that’s not a choice we want Americans to make.” Did you catch that last sentence? That’s not a choice “we” want Americans to make. Who’s “we?” “We” is the government. Barry is a collectivist where government decides what is best for you. Compare that statement to what Ronald Reagan said in his first Inaugural Address - “We are a nation that has a government–not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the Earth.” Individual liberty is the political philosophy espoused by the Declaration of Independence.
