The convivial atmosphere of the Streatham-Croydon bar was the setting for the latest meeting of the Thornton Heath Community Action Group. This group of local residents, businesses and councillors with the full backing of the London Borough of Croydon is to play a key advisory role in the regeneration and improvement of the Thornton Heath area for which significant funding is being made available by the Mayor of Londons Office. SCRFC intends to fully support this initiative. There is already a day of action planned for this Saturday 13th December which will see significant work carried out in the area around Thornton Heath Station
