The cooler temps and turning leaves are a reminder that we are nose-diving toward the end of another year, when the holidays, frantic shopping, food consumption and snow panics will be right on top of us. Hopefully we have a few more good-weather weekends ahead like this one, the last for many pumpkin markets in the area. Maybe you are participating in the AIDS Walk in Washington, or helping a cause for MoCo Community Service Day, or braving the haunted Murkwood Forest at Damascus Community Center or biking the Western Maryland Rail Trail in Washington County, where the foliage colors are fab-yoo-lous. Whatever recreational activity you choose this weekend, make it count!
