The coolest thing happened! I met my new volunteer, Sally, on the beach! She is due here on Sunday but because she had stayed at my neighbors hotel several months ago, which is how she came to love the area in the first place, she wanted to stay there for a few days before getting started over here. I was walking with Milo on the beach and she said, Are you Sierra? I am Sally! I felt an instant connection with her and we had a great talk. I told her to rest up and enjoy her vacation days because I am going to put her to work when she gets here!! ;) That was such a cool way to meet while both of us were strolling on the beach. And I can tell she is mature, responsible and totally committed to our project. Yay!!!! Next chapter about to begin!
