The cop over reacted but the dude didnt help by not following instructions. The dude should told the officer his DL was in the car. The cop then should have walked up to the vehicle and watched him. When the dude turned it appeared he was going for something. The officer tells him to get back out and he hesitates. Split second....could he have been going for a gun? Yes! Did the officer know he wasnt no. Had the boy gotten out when told the officer would never have shot. What pisses me off Id the way the news edited the dashboard can video. Anyone noticed the dude got out before the police had stopped? Rule #1 you stay in your car until the cop tells you different. News didnt show that part. Nor did they show the part where the cop told him why he shot at him. So here is the full video.
