The corporations who own what used to be our government choose nearly all of the people we vote for. They choose and fund the Republican candidates, the Democrat candidates, and of course the Tea Party candidates. They throw them all into a ring where they keep us all against each other fighting over social issues that are usually not resolved. These issues are smoke and mirrors to keep us from focusing on our real enemy. Meanwhile, all corporate dictated legislation, aggression, and expansion passes through both houses quickly and efficiently. Are corporations created to control governments, create monopolies of what used to be our electoral system, and make us second-class citizens in our own homeland? No. But the super rich, who own the majority of the stock in these corporations use these organizations that way. What we are going through right now has no real effect on the corporations who hold us under their boot. We have to find a way to run candidates with a single issue: No big money, corporate or union. Let them vot social issues any way they like. The corporations do. Only contributions from flesh and blood citizens. We have to get enough of them elected to pass legislation to regain human control of Washington. When that is done, they all resign and hold free elections.
