The costs to a worker that is being intimidated by a bully are much more than just monetary. They will have increased health costs of course but besides that they will suffer from psychological problems, possible substance abuse problems, stress that can even become PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). There will be a loss or reduction of their income due to the extra sick days and vacation time that they have to use in order to stay as far away from the bully as they possibly can.
