The court sentenced the above person to death. It is now certain that the entire decision against the accused was fabrication. How are political prosecutions carried out within Islamic states? Elaborate techniques are deployed: Before hand, the party’s police, under the order of the party, declares that a certain individual is an enemy of the system. Furthermore, his association with certain friends is seen as proof of his risk to the local government. The next step is then to eliminate the so-called enemy. This is usually implemented through corrupt elements such that the individual will be tarnished with accusations of being a member of illegal organizations or of his contribution in any state activities. Often, through controlled media, a witness is brought against him. In Islamic states, most illegal political organizations are created by the police itself so that they can entrap the individuals within its domain. Islamic governments do not attempt to warn off the criminal elements within their structure, but instead they direct them towards further corruption so that, at an appropriate moment, they can take them into custody. In other words, Islamic states do not clear their system of corrupt elements but wait until the day when these elements turn against the system itself. For those who oppose the system, even if there are no legal charges against them, the ultra-Islamites tend to bring legal charges against them. Often, the constitutional rights of the individuals are ignored, and the judicial system attaches all sorts of informal charges to those who find themselves on the opposite side of the leading hierarchy. Contemporary history has not experienced a more barbaric and inhumane treatment of opposition to the system than that operating in Islamic Iran. Even successful colonial powers seldom resort to such barbaric measures, but the Islamic leaders, based on their own laws and their own state, commit such atrocities. (1)
