The cover to my soon-to-be-published collection of poetry A Net Full of Hope, is ready for debut! Its every aspect is precious to me for a banquet of reasons. The front cover photograph, taken by Sue Edgerton, is of my hands. Ive been a nurse for 38 years and a writer for even longer and my hands have touched every vital work Ive done. The butterflies being cast from a net are are a portrait of my hearts hope--at liberty to be shared. The background daffodils are one of my favorite flowers--such brave Spring sentrys. The location of the photo--me sitting on a rock in Gage Park. My, how many poems breathed there first!
