The covering your eyes pitch black for 5 sec example is inaccurate, when you look st your phone you still have perefeable vision from the sides of your eyes, and of corse Teens think they are good at texting and driving, they are teens they think they are good at every thing. Its not texting and driving thats killing people its that they are inexperienced drivers to begin with!!! ITs a distraction like anything else in the car, dogs, kids, radios, smoking, gps, ect, ect ect. Im not saying its not happening, but the media has been making it as propaganda. First off duh parents control and limit your teens, they are new inexperienced drivers. Untill uhh youve been driving safely and responsible for a few years then you can learn to take on some distractions.
