The crazy of our world - Stella on oxygen and an amazing Christmas tree filled with gifts cards was left at our house and waiting for Stella when we get home 💛 Yesterday has been hard on Stella. Temp up to 104.2 / oxygen stats low enough shes on oxygen now / morphine every 4-5 hours (Benedryl when the itching starts) / platelets and red blood needed ask all her blood counts are crashing low from her viral infection (from low/no counts) - I asked for a CBC 6 hours early last night because she had a cut that wouldnt stop bleeding. Mouth sores wont heal till blood counts return and its leaving her only able to eat a small amount 1/2 hour after morphine. Drinking hurts. Talking hurts. Stella has never been this bad before. Her brother, Nigel cant wait for her to see the Christmas Tree that was so kindly set up and decorated in our house today - and we noticed the glass fish decorations! We WILL keep swimming! Dad is spending the night at the hospital and I got to spend some wonderful time with Nigel all while texting about Stella.
