The crises with my ECO-DRIVE Citizen watch had finally came to a head..Its skipping, not keeping proper time, not tracking the proper dates, etc..In other words..It needs to be send back for a cleaning, perhaps more.. Ill miss wearing it deeply, while its being repaired.. So now I need a watch for daily use~! Looking thru several drawers, boxes..I came across a vintage looking Bulova watch. I found this watch in a big box filled with odds and ends, contents dumpd out of a desk drawer..for 1.00$ at an estate sale ~!! It works~! Checking it out shows it was a 1958 Bulova 17 jewels Storm King. Cost new in 1958, 45$. One thing, its dials are luminous due to radium paint..Yikes~! I can still recall the stories of the poor girls suffering from mouth cancer, because they wet their brushes with their lips, to get a fine tip point..
