The current Egyptian government which seems to be constantly the point of reference to legitimise peace proposals & negotiations in the mainstream media, isnt even legitimised by its own people seizing power by severe violence & never been voted for. Having mass sentenced to death large numbers of the opposition in their own country & blocked essential lifelines that run into Gaza for food & medical supplies, whilst turning away international relief agencies who are trying to get in to deliver life saving aid to the Palestinians, their most recently appointed employee being international war criminal Tony Blair as an advisor...The peace treaty agreed to by Israel was actually put together in Israel and didnt include any Palestinian representatives in its construction whilst the 10 year peace agreement presented by democratically elected Hamas which proposed basic living rights for the Palestinian people was flatly rejected.
