The current motto for Mercedes Benz is “the Best or Nothing.” That works because when you say the name ‘Mercedes Benz’ people automatically know that you have the best. What is your philosophy about you? Are you the best you? Are you the best in your relationships? What about with your children? On your job? There was a city and church in the New Testament that the Lord had real strong feelings about because of their mediocracy. Revelation 3:15-16, “I know that you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! But because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit you out of my mouth!” If the water had been cold it could have provided refreshing drink. If the water had been hot they could have bathed. Lukewarm water is not good for much. Same with our passion for the Lord He wants us to take a stand. The Lord has no tolerance for mediocracy, He wants our best or nothing.
