The current situations in Ferguson and LA and other towns in America are not new. They are a continuation of a long-standing trend of Americans killing black men, Black peoples anger building and releasing, followed by a time of cooler heads prevailing before the underlying problems are solved. This happened many times before but here is a historical reference from 1919 in Chicago where a group of white people threw rocks at a black child while he was swimming until he drowned. This set off the Chicago Race riot of 1919. One day, hopefully, cooler heads will stop prevailing.
