The current social economic status will inevitably be our downfall. We need to recognize that what we call our economy is actually the opposite of what an economic system is suppose to do. Define the word economy look at the second definition of the word and ask yourself how are we as a nation or global citizens fulfilling that definition? If our economy is not economizing then what it is that we are doing? When we start managing resources on a global scale; regarding the well being of the entire human species and the planet itself is when a more sustainable resource based economy will pull us out of this downward spiral of eco-genocidal suicide What can you do about it? A lot actually. Manage your waste better, spend wiser, avoid feeding into corporations, grow your own food, produce your own energy. Tons of other shit can be done and even more when we truly unify ourselves.The day will come when we have to fight the current status quo. I hope to be alive during that time.
