The current target day for the next hot fix is the 13th August (#Wednesday). The team intends to work on subjects as: melee combat, container contents, global voice manipulation, camera clipping issues, persistent containers and items as well. Hot fix version 0.48 and version 0.49 will probably release this August. The work on V.0.49 continues and includes targets as horticulture for instance. Over the next weeks the developers will be working with their game server provider partners: “…to begin the final steps required for the central hive, and their respective back ends to support renting private shards of the DayZ central hive, which will enable dedicated communities to create their own private DayZ worlds.” .
