The curse has been lifted! Im emerging from the shortest hiatus ever tonight to join my dear friend Derick Dodge for Dericks Blanket Ball II. Starting at 7:30 p.m., we welcome each and every one of you to JAM SLC to bring a cold-weather clothing item(s), blanket(s), or anything else we can donate to our local brothers and sisters in need to help them through the bitter Utah winter months. Last year, we had a pile of donations that nearly touched the ceiling, and Im confident we can gather twice as many items this year! Please find it in your hearts to bring in a gently used item and start spreading some holiday warmth! Not only will this event be a great cause, but weve got a fierce party lined up as well! The phenomenal DJ Lishus starts spinning at 9:30, and The Ladies of Marmalade have a little show lined up for you featuring Indi Skies beautiful drag daughter London Skies Andrew Crenshaw, who will be serving some live vocals and celebrating her birthday! Cover tonight is FREE, and I will be donating EACH AND EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR I make in tips from tonights performance to Dericks beautiful cause. Tis the season, so lets start giving!
