The customary end-of-year donation plea by (the English language version of) Wikipedia has been limited since last year. Why? Probably because they now know we cant be fooled so easily anymore. :) But really, why? Wikimedia Foundation, Inc., the supposedly non-profit body that oversees Wikipedia alongside many other wiki projects, makes enough from its proprietary assets and charity campaigns to take care of running expenses. Thats the official line for the simple-minded. However, those who are allergic to bullshit :) know the truth: Jimmy Wales insanely wealthy Freemason brethren have effectively taken over funding. Yes. :o Wikipedia is incredibly useful, but it is also the third biggest way of brain-training (AKA brainwashing) the hoi polloi, after entertainment and mainstream news. DISINFORMATION. They know it and control its channels of distribution. :/ Wikipedia at least costs hundreds of thousands of dollars just to MAINTAIN annually. Were talking acres of server space. The revenue from the Wikimedia Foundation will at most only maintain ten or more servers and a minute fraction of the extra-large SQL databases, and there are a lot more needs for a domain family THIS MASSIVE. Not to worry though. The Masons got this. :) Heres why Wikipedia doesnt need your widows mite: theregister.co.uk/2012/12/20/cash_rich_wikipedia_chugging/
