The cycle of poverty is so discouraging. Through my life experiences personally and professionally I have been amazed and fascinated with the characteristic of resiliency. Why some have it an others dont. Now more than ever I believe resiliency + education+ ability to see something better (outside of their circumstances ) is the answer to ending the ever gripping cycle of poverty. Now if I can just figure out a way for the students I work with to see beyond their circumstances and want something more for themselves and their future. The education is just laid out before them waiting to be taken on.
