The cynical side of me is starting to think the real end game to all this is giving the House Republicans an excuse to start impeachment hearings. If they put us over the debt limit, the administration has no choice but to break the law. Its just a matter of which law they choose to break... do they go with the trillion dollar coin? Default on our debts? Stop payments to Medicare and social security recipients? I cant see any choice that doesnt provoke an impeachment hearing.
