The dangers of walking on the Green Road route to school were evident this morning on a walk with Ollie Dillon of the Gael Scoils PA, Laura Tyrell of Educate Together PA and Martin Heydon TD. Following a few failed attempts to attract due attention from officials to the Green Road, I have submitted a public motion for the next Municipal District meeting that the Council find a solution to the dangers of the route for parents/children walking to Educate Together and the Gael Scoil. A petition to support my motion is being signed by parents of both schools in the school yards at drop off/pick up times in the car park. Please sign if you support. I will be bringing all feedback to the Municipal District Council meeting.
