The dark overlord (Sharad Kumar Pandian) has asked the heathen (me) to pick his 10 favorite books. Although Im not the biggest reader of books, there are still some that have made an impact on my life at some point of time: 1. Letters to a Young Contrarian - Christopher Hitchens (One of the most thought-provoking epistolaries Ive read, and one of my favorite books EVER) 2. An Astronauts Guide to Life on Earth - Col. Chris Hadfield 3. The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark - Carl Sagan 4. Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand 5. Why Does the World Exist?: An Existential Detective Story - Jim Holt 6. The Will to Power - Friedrich Nietzsche 7. Critique of Pure Reason - Immanuel Kant (A really difficult read, but I think its one of the cornerstones of Western philosophy) 8. Thought as a System - David Bohm 9. On Liberty - John Stuart Mill 10. Arguably - Christopher Hitchens I nominate Aditya Chintalapati, Mihir Sheth and Vijay Rajvanshi to write down your favorites!
