The day I fell in love with music was the day I realized how every note and every sound can make you feel something. How powerful can something be? Music can alter your mood and make you feel like a completely different person. Even as a kid I felt like no matter what happened, I can go home - put on my headphones and get high off music. There was a summer day I remember clearly that completely changed my life. I was about 14 and I had walked in on my Dad who attempted suicide. I saw a beautiful mind almost defeat the body of my father. That moment will probably replay in my head for the rest of my life. Pills. Spit. Slurring words. I remember it all clearly. After realizing how fragile and distracted our minds can be, I dedicated my existence to expressing emotions through music. If you are just aware and one with any sort of darkness you have, and you accept yourself - you have nothing to be afraid of. You are limitless. I can’t help but thank everyone who has given this band a chance and listened to our music. This is a very interesting chapter for us and “excited” is an understatement. The new music is raw, hectic, emotional, and most of all it is REAL. We love you freaks - let’s fight the darkness together. -Akash / lionfight
