The day after excelling in the 100m at Bedford, Owen King and Owain Collard turned their attention to the fifth and final Huntingdonshire AC club championship meet of the season. Starting off with the 400m hurdles, Owen finished comfortably in first with 62.4 secs with Owain showing 64.2. Onto the hammer and Owains strength proved decisive with a 26.68m throw. In the final event, the triple jump, Owain had the better handle on technique, clearing a useful 10.96m. In the Under 15 Girls hammer, Megan Wilson improved her best by over 4 1/2 metres to win by over 5 metres.
