The day before the Fourth of July, I am extremely reflective about the past year and the events since then - because I mark this time of year, always, as the most metamorphic, life-changing month of the year, and it continues to be. I believe I should update folks about things and the state of my life as I prepare for a next major chapter, since I begin writing the last bit of work for a masters degree - as far in education as I am currently willing to go - in a matter of three months. Where will it bring me? I am coming to Los Angeles to write it in oceanographic instrumentation, a 45 ECTS / 3/4 school year thesis, from November until next May. Next month I begin applying to Teach for America to start teaching physics/mathematics - wherever I am needed - most likely in east Los Angeles. ^_^ Beautiful, beautiful changes. It may be confusing, but, I decided to extend my stay in the US for another month, until the 29th. :D Excellent time to make preparations, time to spend with the people I love and who I havent gotten enough time with, and, it felt like the only right thing - what I wanted most. The feeling in my gut, of total dread, has been relieved fully. Happy July, everyone, I love you all. ^_^
