The day begins. As the eyes open a prayer fills the air. Silence ensues while the burble of the coffee pot drones in the kitchen. Hot shower turns to ice halfway through. Teeth get brushed. Get dressed then drink a cup of coffee. Get up and move. Start the car and get in while it warms up. Off to work, with another coffee cup. The sun rises, beautifully painting the sky. Activity begins as whistling ducks sing overhead. Out on the lagoon a lonely heron squawks. A loon flies by. Tide sucks the water outbound. Boats are gone to work now. An osprey hovers over the still water left in the lagoon. He dives and comes up with a large catch. His breakfast. He spends the rest of the day circling near, showing his agility and the span of two strong and awesome wings. The day slowly moves into noon. Afternoon speeds into early afternoon. Time to get the car started to return home and do it all again tomorrow. Yes, it is a blessing. Even the small things count. Details have been omitted. Yes it is a blessing. 0:)
