The day has finally come! My surgery was 12 weeks ago (it feels more like 12 months) and today I got released to proceed with my life...with my Dr.s blessing. We have a small problem with one ligament that doesnt want to stretch, but an injection should take care of that. Ill still be doing physical therapy for at least 6 more weeks, but I can start working with the horses now. Its going to take a while to get my strength and stamina back, but at least Im free, at last!!! I need to work the horses and make sure their brains are in the right place....its been almost a year since weve ridden....thats right, it was last Black Friday that we rode last. Lots of physical therapy and the hip replacement surgery and rehab, and Im finally going to be Back In The Saddle Again and On The Road Again!!!! To all of you who called or came by to see me and check up on my progress, Thank You! Your encouragement meant a lot to me. Enjoy the cooler weather! Be careful out there.
