The day of commissioning the Prophet: The day Islam was born This is the day of the greatest joy. It is the day Islam was born; the day that Allah wanted the people to adopt Islam so that the blessings of Heavens and earth will open up to them. It is the day in which Allah wanted the people to be guided with Islam in the general sense of guidance; that is, the belief in Allah, His Messengers, His books, His Messages and in the Day of Judgment. He also wanted them to believe in Islam in the practical sense; that is, the belief in the Shariah that the people should adopt as it represents the real life. Allah says: O you who believe! Answer (the call of) Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. (08:24). Thus, the Islamic call is a call for life; the cultural life that opens up to knowledge.
