The days when you could fly to Spain and laze around the pool for two weeks at less than £100 each have long since gone so it makes sound economic sense to Rebuild The Knap Lido and if it is done properly it would once again be a major tourist attraction in the heart of The Vale.of Glamorgan. For example it could be built with an all weather facility retractable roof with solar panels attached to heat the water and the cost of that heating after the first year or two would be pennies. There are countless ideas available to make it a soundly economic project and would be beneficial in allowing future generations to adapt to social skills instead of sitting in front of a monitor flicking through games on an x box or such like. The case for rebuilding our lido is supported by thousands including Dow Corning Chemical company, Overton Contractors, Alun H Cairns MP, Councillor Philip Clarke of Rhoose plus many more than can be mentioned here. So lets get busy folks and promote and share and like as often as possible and people power will give us back our Lido/Bars/ Pool
