The deadline for signing up for insurance is today. If you dont have insurance dont worry. As long as you say you tried to sign up you will be taken at your word and not have a penalty imposed - 1% of annual income or $95.00, whichever is greater. You see, the website is still not working and the government has no way to verify if a person actually tried to sign up and couldnt, did sign up and hasnt paid the premium, or did neither and are just lying through their teeth. So the government is granting an undisclosed grace period with no penalty. This signature piece of (crap) legislature of the Obama administration has to be the biggest FAILED legislature in recent history. Yet REAL PEOPLE are being affected. Oh, CBS News also reported that NEXT YEAR premiums will probably double what they are now. OH BOY!!!
